Amersham Hospital is one of several Community Hospitals within the Trust. We have three inpatient areas: Chartridge Ward, Waterside Unit, and Buckinghamshire Neuro Rehabilitation Unit.
Chartridge Ward has an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join their team. This post would be suitable for individuals who are newly qualified or who already have post-registration experience. We will provide you with the structured support needed to transition your knowledge into everyday practice successfully based on your previous experience. If newly qualified you will also be enrolled onto our trust Preceptorship Programme.
Chartridge Ward is a 22 bedded ward within the Community & Rehab Care Group. We care for individuals who are medically optimised for discharge, usually following a period of time in acute care, but who require nursing support until the appropriate care can be put into place to allow them to be discharged from hospital. This could be in the form of a Package of Care in the patients own home, placement in a Nursing or Residential Home, or an assessment by Adult Social Care. Our patients often have multiple health needs & chronic conditions.
