Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Staff Nurse (Band 5) to join the CATU/SDEC team on a fixed-term contract of 12 months to cover maternity leave. The role focuses on acute nursing, dynamic patient flow, and delivering care in a fast-paced pathway to return patients home the same day where possible.

You will work within the Community and Assessment Treatment Unit and Same Day Emergency Care, using extended nursing skills and ongoing professional development to support

Qualifications

• Professional registration with NMC.
• Current professional registration - RGN 1st level.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development (CPD).
• Evidence of effective teamwork and collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Empower patients with a range of nursing skills during admission, assessment and ongoing treatment.
• Lead patient care on the unit, including day case referrals, maintaining high standards of care.
