Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is inviting applications for a Senior Staff Nurse in the Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) and Clinical Assessment and Treatment Unit (CATU) at Camborne and Redruth Hospital.

The role can be part time or full time and is a permanent contract. You will work in an innovative acute nursing pathway focused on rapid assessment and treatment, with opportunities for development and leadership.

Formación

• Current professional registration with NMC.
• Professional nursing qualification at degree level.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.
• Staff management and leadership including HR processes.
• Postgraduate qualification in leadership or equivalent experience.
• Experience implementing change management strategies.

Responsabilidades

• Liaise with multi-professional team to promote high-quality care.
• Take direct referrals to the Same Day Emergency Care and CATU.
• Coordinate triage, arrivals and management of frail patients within a multidisciplinary team.
• Oversee patient flow and support admissions avoidance in collaboration with Virtual Ward and community partners.
• Assess care needs and develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care.
• Provide leadership, supervision and role-modeling for junior staff.
• deputise for the Ward Manager when needed.
