Job Introduction

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our team as part of our new way of working on the bank.

You will be given the flexibility to work across multiple teams within the business unit, so one day you could be working in rapid response / community or a ward-based setting depending on your preference and the shift you choose. We will provide you with a level of training and support to bolster your skillset to work across multiple functions if this is something you are interested in.

If you don’t want to work across multiple teams and just stick to your specialist area then just let us know and we can accommodate this.

Main Responsibility

Within this role, you will have / be:

  1. Responsible for contributing to the holistic assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of care to patients.
  2. Implement, monitor, and maintain high standards of care delivery at all times.
  3. Care for patients and their families in the way that you believe is best.
  4. Deliver our high service standards, sharing best practice, and actively improving the way we work.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be a NMC/1st level registered Nurse, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong communication and organisation skills, along with a flexible approach, are essential to ensure positive patient experiences at every stage of their healthcare journey. A full UK driving license and access to a car for work purposes are required.

You should also be confident using IT systems and demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
