Job summary

Brook House, a care home for four adults with learning disabilities, is run by the Learning Disabilities Division of Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. The Staff Nurse post focuses on care planning, health monitoring, medication administration and leading shifts while supervising junior staff.

Residents live in separate flats; role includes helping with holidays, meals out and activities they enjoy, working with the Clinical Lead, Home Manager and Service Manager to deliver

Qualifications

• NMC registration as RNLD, RMN or RG is required.
• Experience of working with people with a learning disability and autism.
• Experience of working as part of a team.
• One year's experience of working with people with a learning disability.

• Monitor residents' physical and mental health.

This six-month fixed-term role centres on care planning, physical and mental health monitoring, medication administration and leading shifts while supervising junior staff. Residents each live in a separate flat, and the work includes helping them take part in holidays, meals out and other activities they enjoy.
