Job summary

Brook House, Ottershaw, operated by Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, seeks a Staff Nurse (RNLD/RMN/RG) for the Learning Disabilities Division. The role focuses on caring for four adults, including care planning, health monitoring, and medication administration, with a lead within the team.

Registration with NMC as RNLD, RMN or RG is required, plus at least one year of learning disability experience and ability to work collaboratively in a small team.

Qualifications

• NMC registration as RNLD, RMN or RG.
• One year's experience working with people with a learning disability.
• Experience working as part of a team.
• Experience working with people with learning disabilities and autism or associated needs.
• Experience of leading a shift (nice to have)

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and ensure the team provides support to residents.
• Carry out care planning for each resident.
• Monitor residents' physical health.
• Monitor residents' mental health.
• Administer medication.
• Supervise junior staff.
• Report to the Clinical Lead and Home Manager and work with the Service Manager.
• Support four adults with learning disabilities in daily life and their leisure interests.
