Job summary

HCA Healthcare UK is seeking a Senior Staff Nurse in Outpatients at The Wilmslow Hospital. You will support clinical care, coordinate patient journeys and lead junior staff in a busy outpatient department.

You will have substantial Outpatients experience, current NMC registration, and strong leadership and communication skills to thrive in this consultant-led, multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration (Adult)
• Post-registration Outpatients experience in acute hospital or private healthcare
• Experience supporting consultant-led clinics and outpatient procedures
• Strong clinical assessment skills and patient-centred care
• Experience mentoring colleagues and leading teams when required
• Excellent communication and organisational skills in a busy multidisciplinary environment

The hospital supports over 10,000 outpatient appointments each year and provides rapid access to diagnostics, specialist consultations and treatment across a wide range of specialties.As a Senior Staff Nurse in Outpatients, you'll work alongside leading consultants and multidisciplinary teams supporting a diverse patient population across specialist services including Women's Health, Breast Care, Cardiology, Orthopaedics, Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology and Sports & Exercise Medicine.This is a varied and patient-focused role where you'll provide high-quality clinical care, support the day-to-day operational running of clinics, coordinate patient journeys and act as a role model for junior team members.
