Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) in London seeks an independent, dedicated Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join the Visual Computing Group. You will advance neural networks for game rendering and live streaming, and contribute to state-of-the-art ML research.

You will develop and refine generative models for graphics and video, prototype new methods, and collaborate on publications and patents with a hybrid working model and strong compensation package.

Qualifications

• PhD or MSc in CS or related field or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years demonstrable research experience in industry or academia
• Strong background in TensorFlow or PyTorch and Python CV/graphics libraries
• Publications in top-tier conferences (CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, SIGGRAPH)
• Experience with neural networks architectures and large datasets

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve core generative models for graphics and video processing
• Research and prototyping of new methods for graphics or video enhancement
• Collaborate on publications and patent submissions
• Collaborate with team members on drafting publications and patent submissions
