Job summary

Aramark UK in York is seeking a Staff Canteen Supervisor to support the day‑to‑day running of the shift, train staff and assist the Manager with stock control, rotas and coaching. You will ensure a service‑focused environment and upsell opportunities while maintaining high standards.

The role requires UK residency, the right to work, and the ability to pass security vetting and DBS checks. Term: permanent, full‑time, 35 hours weekly, 07:30–15:30.

Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Staff Canteen Supervisor (family friendly hours) to join our team working at HMP Millsike, York.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the shift, ensuring the team is motivated and provides excellent customer service. You will be training staff, assisting the Manager with managerial tasks alongside all other supervisory duties such as stocktaking,

To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements: you must have lived in the UK for the past 5 years and have a legal right to work and must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

• Cash management, giving change, recording orders, cashing up.

What we’re looking for:

• Must have resided in the UK for the past 5 years and have a legal right to work.
• Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
• Previous experience is desirable.
