CVS Health is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer - Java to lead design, development, and modernization of enterprise-scale healthcare platforms. This role requires a strong technical leader to drive architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and deliver secure, scalable applications for millions of users.

As a Staff Engineer and technical leader, you will collaborate with Product, Architecture, Security, and Operations teams to build innovative solutions that improve healthcare

Competenze

• 7+ years of professional software development in large-scale distributed environments.
• 7+ years Java application development with modern Java frameworks.
• 5+ years Java/Spring Boot development experience.
• 5+ years of cloud initiatives and cloud computing technologies.
• 5+ years designing and developing modern microservices and APIs.
• 3+ years of CI/CD pipeline automation.
• 3+ years in Agile development environments.

Mansioni

• Design and implement efficient, scalable solutions meeting business requirements and quality standards.
• Contribute to solution design and architecture discussions with architects and senior engineers.
• Provide input on feasibility, performance, and scalability to meet objectives.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards and quality guidelines.
• Communicate with team members to align on technical directions and decisions.
• Adopt best practices and new technologies to boost productivity and code quality.
