Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on software engineering experience designing scalable platforms or distributed systems.
• Experience defining platform architectures, APIs, and reusable services.
• Proven track record owning outcomes across multiple teams or domains.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native tech, reliability, observability, security, and performance engineering.
• Experience scaling products with rapid innovation and experimentation.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and make sound technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical outcomes for new product platforms and shared capabilities.
• Define and communicate technical strategy, target architectures, and engineering guardrails.
• Champion Spec Driven Development and AI-assisted tooling to improve quality and delivery speed.
• Design platform capabilities, APIs, and integration patterns for multiple product teams.
• Lead technical discovery and architectural decisions for new opportunities.
• Drive initiatives to reduce duplication and increase platform adoption.
• Be a technical leader and escalation point for complex challenges.
• Evaluate new technologies and approaches for future growth.
• Mentor senior engineers and promote architectural thinking.
