Job summary
La Fosse is recruiting a Staff Engineer to steer the technical direction of a consumer app, loyalty platform, website and click & collect for a major UK brand. You will own architecture decisions, set engineering standards and drive delivery across multiple squads without people management.
You will influence tech choices across .NET, Azure and AWS, with Braze, Talon.One or Sanity as bonus capabilities, and advance AI-enabled engineering across global teams.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in software delivery
- Experience as Lead Engineer / senior EM
- Full-stack understanding of apps, APIs, platforms
- NET and Azure or AWS experience (Braze/Talon.One/Sanity bonus)
- Experience in consumer/retail/e-commerce/loyalty ideally
- Comfort setting standards and metrics across teams
- Doer mindset: get things done
Responsibilities
- Own the technical direction of the consumer app, loyalty platform, website and click & collect.
- Act as the technical authority across several squads with no line management.
- Collaborate with Architecture at design stage and with engineering teams through delivery.
- Shape what tech is adopted, how it's built and when it ships.
- Lead the rollout of AI-assisted engineering across the teams.
