Job summary

Preply is seeking a Staff Data Scientist for Paid Marketing Optimization in London. Hybrid role focusing on design and deployment of analytics that maximize channel ROI, including creative analytics, cohort predictions, bidding signals, and audience uplift modeling.

You will work with cross-functional teams across marketing, product, and data to translate hypotheses into testable analytics and scalable data pipelines.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python and SQL for data analysis and modeling.
• Experience with marketing or attribution data and signal interpretation.
• Advanced modelling including propensity and uplift models.

Responsibilities

• Design the Creative Analytics Framework and drive cross-team adoption.
• Build cohort maturity and conversion lag predictions to optimize spend.
• Optimize bidding signals with channel managers and AI teams.
• Develop audience uplift models to improve marketing efficiency.
• Collaborate on scalable data pipelines and ETL evolution.
