Job summary

University of Cambridge Staff Counselling Centre invites applications for a Staff Counsellor. The role is 18.5 hours per week within a hybrid working model, requiring attendance at the Centre for a minimum of two days each week.

Qualifications

• Accredited counsellor/psychotherapist registered with a recognised body.
• Experience in a counselling service and caseload management.
• Ability to deliver brief therapeutic interventions.
• Commitment to ethical frameworks (BACP/UKCP/BABCP/BPC or BPS/HCPC).

Responsibilities

• Provide staff counselling on a 18.5-hour-per-week basis.
• Operate within a hybrid model and attend the Centre at least two days per week.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professional standards.
• Collaborate within a team of counselling professionals to support colleagues.
