Addepar is seeking a Staff Backend Software Engineer in Edinburgh to join the Product Platform team building foundational components for our ecosystem. You will lead design and implementation of critical API services powering our financial data platform while modernizing architecture for European expansion.

You will mentor engineers, drive multi-region solutions, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive backend development experience in a professional environment.
• Expert knowledge of REST APIs, distributed systems and software design patterns.
• Proven ability to influence technical direction and architecture.
• Experience with Java, SQL and AWS is required.
