Job summary

Tact is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to own complex product and engineering problems in a remote-first UK setting, with a London-based office option. You’ll work closely with Product and Design, shape architecture, and drive AI-enabled software development across the stack.

You’ll contribute to strong engineering standards, collaborate across teams, and help productionize AI features while advancing product value and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have experience delivering complex software across frontend and backend.
• Experience with AI-native development and agentic workflows preferred.
• Ability to own products or features from problem to production and measure success.
• Ability to influence architectural decisions and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own complex product and engineering problems from discovery to production and production support.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to understand customer needs and design solutions.
• Shape technical direction and review architectures with the team to maintain quality and speed.
