Job summary

Manchester City Football Club, based at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester, is offering a permanent, full-time role to support the Senior Facilities Manager in coordinating day-to-day facilities services. You will help maintain a safe, secure and high-quality environment, overseeing cleaning, waste and recycling, building and grounds maintenance, security and energy management.

You will build strong relationships with partners and colleagues, contribute to site planning and facilities projects,

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating facilities management services such as cleaning, waste and recycling, logistics, building maintenance, grounds or estate management.
• Ability to monitor contractor performance through inspections, audits, agreed measures and practical improvement actions.
• A practical understanding of health and safety compliance and its application within an operational environment.
• Comfortable using facilities management software and standard digital tools to maintain records, complete administration and produce reports.
• Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships and influence positive outcomes.
• Ability to organise priorities, work independently when needed and take part in site key-holder and emergency call-out arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day delivery of facilities services across the Etihad Stadium.
• Help maintain a safe, secure and high-quality operational environment with focus on compliance and safeguarding.
• Oversee activity across cleaning, waste & recycling, building maintenance, grounds maintenance, security and energy management.
• Carry out inspections and audits, track performance, and drive continuous improvement actions.
• Support site planning and facilities projects, ensuring work is well coordinated and high-quality.
• Build effective relationships with partners, stakeholders and colleagues; act as site key holder and emergency call-out participant.
