Job summary

Manchester City FC is recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to deliver high-quality mechanical maintenance across all sites in Manchester. You will manage tasks end-to-end, including scoping, pricing and materials, while coordinating with customers and supervising others for timely completion.

You will support preventive maintenance programs, ensure safety compliance, and apply knowledge of health and safety legislation. Experience in stadium settings is a plus.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have mechanical or multi-skilled maintenance experience.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is required.
• Experience in stadium or large facility environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation applicable to facilities maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose faults and test/repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Experience with preventative maintenance activities and safety inspections.
• Fault-finding in reactive or planned scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality mechanical maintenance across MCFC sites.
• Manage tasks from scoping to completion, including pricing and materials.
• Coordinate with customers and supervise others to ensure timely completion.
• Support Planned Preventive Maintenance and lifecycle schedules.
• Ensure safety compliance and high standards of operation.
