Job summary

Manchester City is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to ensure high standards of service across cleaning, maintenance, health and safety and energy management. You will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate planning, and support audits while maintaining strong relationships with contractors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management or a supervisory role.
• Ability to supervise cleaning, security or other site services.
• Clear communication skills to influence colleagues and stakeholders.
• Good computer literacy to maintain records, administer tasks and produce reports.
• Ability to manage day-to-day operations and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Flexible to work a 5 days over 7 pattern including regular evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily checks and provide operational support across cleaning, health and safety, building maintenance, grounds, security and energy management.
• Coordinate planning and day-to-day use of the site, support accommodation standards and contribute to audits and inspections.
• Collaborate with colleagues, partners and contractors to build positive relationships and drive improvements.
• Support the wider Facilities Management team on meetings, events, infrastructure projects and matchday or safety-related activity when required.
