Job summary

Birmingham City Football Club is seeking a Stadium Electrician to deliver planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the stadium, ensuring all systems operate safely and in line with regulations. You will work with the Maintenance Manager and Facilities team to support matchdays, events and day‑to‑day operations.

As lead electrician on site, you will hold 18th Edition and NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, manage materials, monitor infrastructure and drive improvements while prioritising health

Qualifications

• Must have recognised electrical qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3) and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills with attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance across stadium electrical systems.
• Deliver reactive maintenance and repairs to minimise disruption.
• Record completed works and remedial actions (Halo/CAFM).
• Respond to maintenance requests through CAFM system and priortise tasks.
• Lead on-site electrical maintenance and repairs.
• Manage electrical materials and stock; ensure parts are available.
• Monitor stadium electrical infrastructure and identify improvements.
• Support matchdays and events with on-site electrical support.
• Diagnose and resolve faults quickly to ensure seamless operations.
• Collaborate with maintenance team for stadium operations.
• Assist with general stadium maintenance tasks when required.
