Job summary

Britvic is seeking a Stability Lead Technologist in Hemel Hempstead to drive stability testing across new product development and existing lines. You will lead methodologies, generate insights and build a central stability database to support product quality and shelf-life decisions.

You will collaborate with Innovation, Product Development and Pilot Plant teams, turning data into actionable recommendations while guiding technical direction and best practices across the function.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills to translate results into actionable recommendations.
• Experience leading testing programmes and trials in R&D or product development environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication to act as technical lead.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage stability testing programmes for new product development and existing products.
• Design, implement and improve stability testing methodologies (sensory, analytical, microbiological, accelerated).
• Generate scientific insights to optimise formulations, ingredients, processes and product performance.
• Develop and maintain a central stability database for trend analysis and predictive modelling.
• Collaborate with Innovation, Product Development, Sensory, Analytical and Pilot Plant teams to support projects.
• Lead cross-functional projects ensuring quality requirements across the product lifecycle.
• Build relationships with suppliers and research institutions to drive innovation and best practice.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders to influence decisions.
