Job summary

Shire Services is seeking an enthusiastic Catering Manager for a busy secondary school. You will oversee food preparation, stock management and the kitchen team, ensuring smooth service from morning prep to lunch.

This role is 35 hours per week, 44.98 weeks per year, Monday to Friday 7:30am to 2:30pm, term time with three extra cleaning days. You will ensure high standards of food presentation, compliance and allergen management, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in school catering or large-scale catering.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily catering operations in a busy secondary school.
• Manage kitchen staff and food presentation.

Duties include: Food preparation, stock management, management of kitchen team, food presentation and service set up. compliance and allergen management. Monday to Friday between 7:30am to 2:30pm. Term time with 3 additional cleaning days.
