Shire Services in Birmingham is seeking an enthusiastic Catering Manager for a busy primary school. You will oversee food preparation, stock control, and lead the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily service from 7:00 am to 2:30 pm during term time.

The role emphasises compliance, allergen management, and a calm, hands-on approach to menu planning and service setup. It is a fixed full-time position, with term-time plus three cleaning days, 32.5 hours across 44.98 weeks per year.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering management in a school setting.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and allergen management.
• Ability to lead kitchen team and coordinate service.

Duties include: Food preparation, stock management, management of kitchen team, food presentation and service set up. compliance and allergen management. Monday - Friday between 7am - 2.30pm. Term time only plus 3 additional cleaning days.
