Job summary

The University of East London is seeking a Programme Support Officer to drive the Student Record System Transformation Programme. You will provide programme coordination, governance and operational support across a large-scale transformation, working closely with the Programme Manager and leadership team to ensure delivery and governance across multiple workstreams.

• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Experience supporting complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and maintain governance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive programme delivery support, coordinating activities across multiple workstreams and tracking actions through to completion.
• Maintain programme governance documentation, including RAID logs, decision logs, stakeholder registers, action trackers and reporting packs.
• Organise and support programme boards, governance meetings and workshops, preparing agendas, papers, minutes and follow-up actions.
• Monitor programme progress and produce clear reports on delivery, risks, issues, budgets, resources and organisational readiness.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across academic, professional services and technical teams, supporting effective communication and engagement.
• Support risk, issue and dependency management, ensuring escalation and mitigation planning.
• Contribute to change management activities, coordinating stakeholder readiness and adoption across the transformation programme.
• Assist with programme budget monitoring, resource planning and forecasting to support programme delivery.
