Job summary

Oxford Knight is seeking a highly capable SRE/Support Engineer to join a global market-making team. You will provide critical first- and second-line support for trading applications and infrastructures, working across engineering and SRE to keep systems healthy and performant.

You will own incident management, participate in problem management, and help build robust monitoring tools, dashboards, and alerting. The role offers global coverage and a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems.
• Experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and Java JVM.
• Familiarity with Python or Q/KDB is a plus.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 support for applications and processes.
• Own incident and problem management processes.
• Collaborate with development and SRE teams to improve tooling and monitoring.
• Identify issues quickly and provide updates to stakeholders.
• Deliver global coverage for system health checks.
