We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Operational Lead to join Capgemini's Cloud & Infrastructure Services (CIS) managed services business. The role is responsible for leading operational service delivery across the SRE managed service, ensuring reliability, availability, governance, and continual service improvement for our clients.
Operating within a Cloud Pod structure, the SRE Operational Lead acts as the operational authority for service performance, driving operational excellence across Incident, Problem, Change, Availability, and Service Level Management. • Foster adoption of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles including SLIs, SLOs, error budgets and operational automation.
  • Champion automation, reliability and operational efficiency initiatives to reduce manual effort and operational toil.
  • Work closely with architects and engineering teams to align delivery with agreed technical strategies and roadmaps.
  • Identify risks, issues and service improvement opportunities and drive remediation plans.
  • Input into operational, financial and service performance reporting to customer and account stakeholders.
  • Develop and mentor team members, supporting career progression and capability growth.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, innovation and operational excellence.
