Job summary

CrowdStrike is hiring an Engineer II for the TechOps SRE team focusing on our Commercial Cloud. You will develop automation and tooling to ensure delivery of mission-critical solutions for large-scale distributed systems.

You will own operational aspects, lead incident analysis, and help improve platform reliability through monitoring and modern telemetry stacks, with on-call duties and a global engineering team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in a large-scale production environment.
• 2+ years in software engineering.
• Proficiency in C++, Java, Python or Go.
• Experience with storage and infrastructure tech (SAN/NAS/NFS, Object Storage; Linux/Windows, VMware).
• Experience with automation, documentation, and configuration management tools.

Responsibilities

• Own operational aspects of the platform: availability, latency, throughput, monitoring, incident response and capacity planning.
• Lead incident analysis and drive resolution across teams.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues and ensure 24x7 platform reliability.
• Develop automation and tooling to improve workflows and decision-making.
• Collaborate with global teams and share knowledge on new technologies.
