Job summary

Smartsheet seeks a Senior Regional Enablement Manager - EMEA to design and execute data-driven enablement for transforming customer engagement, messaging, tools, and content in the EMEA region. The role partners with Sales and Field Enablement, reporting to the VP Revenue Enablement, and is based in London with hybrid eligibility.

The successful candidate will align to regional OKRs, drive in-region initiatives, and lead content development, training programs, and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 7+ years experience in a high-performance SaaS sales organization in sales, enablement, or learning and development.
  • 7+ years people manager experience.
  • Strong understanding of the sales environment, including sales content, tools and training.
  • Ability to build internal relationships with sales and marketing.
  • Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and work independently.
  • Detail-oriented and accurate.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills in small and large groups.
  • Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to lead in a virtual team environment.
  • Strong one-on-one interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage cross functional teams/projects.
  • Legally eligible to work in the UK on an ongoing basis

Responsibilities

  • Align to our corporate OKRs by building out execution processes in each GEO.
  • Execute in-region initiatives that drive business imperatives.
  • Contribute to the vision for the GTM Enablement organization strategy, keeping scalability as a priority.
  • Advise on evaluation criteria for enablement programs to drive business outcomes.
  • Gather and relay feedback to iterate on enablement strategy.
  • Determine sales enablement priorities with sales stakeholders.
  • Communicate enablement strategy and KPIs to stakeholders.
  • Build trusted relationships with regional leadership and teams.
  • Serve as liaison between sales and Enablement team members.
  • Develop and deliver content for ongoing training programs.
  • Identify and coach in-region educational content for managers and ICs.
  • Help managers manage pipeline through coaching and training.
  • Use performance data to identify knowledge gaps.
  • Set annual learning objectives with sales leadership.
  • Collaborate with other departments to inform sales teams about product/process changes.
  • Establish formal networks to drive initiatives.
  • Advise on strategy and coordinate activities with sales teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

The GTM Enablement Team provides customer-facing leaders and reps with the learning materials, content, and resources to drive growth and success. Partnering with the sales team and broader field enablement team, the Senior Regional Enablement Manager - EMEA will develop and execute impactful, data-driven enablement and readiness solutions for transforming the customer engagement process, sales messaging, sales tools and other specialized content within the region. Success is measured by the overall business impact of these solutions in driving behavioral change and business outcomes through cross-functional collaboration.

This role reports to the VP Revenue Enablement, and is based at Smartsheet in London, UK. (Hybrid eligible)

Responsibilities
  • Align to our corporate OKRs by building out execution processes accordingly in each of the GEOs
  • Execute in-region initiatives that drive business imperatives
  • Contribute to the vision for the GTM Enablement organisation strategy, keeping business needs and opportunities and scalability as key priorities
  • Advise on methods and techniques to establish successful evaluation criteria of enablement programs/initiatives to drive Smartsheet business imperatives
  • Gather and relay feedback to continuously iterate on the enablement strategy
  • Determine sales enablement priorities with sales stakeholders
  • Communicate enablement strategy and KPIs to stakeholders
  • Build a trusted relationship with regional leadership, managers and IC’s
  • Serve as a liaison between sales and other Enablement team members to execute on Enablement GTM strategy
  • Develop, in conjunction with the Knowledge Manager team, and deliver content for ongoing training programs
  • Identify and coach to in region educational content for ongoing training for managers and ICs
  • Help managers effectively manage their teams pipeline through pipeline management, account planning and sales process coaching 1:1 and in manager-led forecast meetings as well as deliver necessary ongoing training in these areas.
  • Use performance data to identify knowledge or skill gaps across the sales team
  • Set annual learning and development objectives for the sales teams in collaboration with sales leadership
  • Collaborate with other departments in order to provide information to sales teams on product, process, and other changes/updates that may affect the sales team as part of ongoing training & preparedness.
  • Establish formal networks to drive functional business initiatives
  • Advises on strategy to accomplish unique works and coordinates the activities to implement with sales teams
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills
