Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C., a growing multi-disciplined engineering firm, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to provide high-level engineering services across various projects. This position is available at all of B&L’s office locations in New York and offers excellent career growth and advancement potential.

Requirements

1. B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 10+ years of diverse consulting engineering experience.
2. Experience in municipal, commercial, private, and/or industrial facilities projects.
3. Strong analytical skills and the ability to design and manage projects of varying sizes.
4. Technical expertise in areas such as chilled water systems, hot water systems, industrial processes, building HVAC, controls, plumbing, and fire protection.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC design/energy analysis software like Carrier HAP.
6. Knowledge of fluid dynamics, heat transfer, mechanical power systems, digital control systems, building codes, and standards like ASHRAE.
7. Excellent communication and writing skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
8. Familiarity with collaborative work involving architects and engineers from other disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry certifications such as Certified Energy Manager or LEED AP.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in NY, PA, MD, or eligibility to obtain it.

Additional Information

This role offers the opportunity to develop and manage innovative projects, with compensation estimated between $120,000 and $140,000 annually. Actual pay varies based on experience, location, education, certifications, and skills.
