Key job responsibilities
  • Maintain and follow strict confidentiality as customer privacy is our top priority
  • Work with various data types including text, speech, audio, image, and video
  • Deliver high-quality labeled data using provided guidelines to meet KPIs, utilizing in-house tools and software, as part of Amazon's responsible AI development
  • Generate high-quality human insight data across modalities such as text, image, video, and audio
  • Make sound judgments and decisions when faced with ambiguous or incomplete information
  • Pay close attention to detail and adapt quickly to changing requirements
  • Support daily operational tasks for multiple assignments
  • Analyze root causes, identify error patterns, and propose solutions to improve labeling quality
  • Identify operational issues and suggest procedural or tool improvements
  • Provide floor support to clarify internal queries as needed
A day in the life

As an ML Data Associate, you will perform foundational labeling tasks such as dialogue evaluation across speech, text, audio, and video data.

Your focus, multi-tasking ability, and attention to detail will help you deliver high-quality work while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to Amazon policies. Basic Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree or relevant work experience
  • Fluency in German at CEFR C1 level or equivalent
  • Proficiency in English (CEFR C1)
  • Strong business writing skills for reports, proposals, and correspondence
  • Advanced comprehension of complex business documents
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions across projects
  • Research skills for synthesizing information from multiple sources
  • Attention to detail in managing complex tasks and documents
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 2+ years of professional experience with demonstrated task execution
  • Experience leveraging open-source resources for research
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced, changing environments
  • 2-3 years project coordination or management experience
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common business applications
