Key job responsibilities

• Maintain and follow strict confidentiality as customer privacy is our top priority.
• Work with various data types including text, speech, audio, image, and video.
• Deliver high-quality labeled data, following guidelines to meet KPIs, using in-house tools and software, as part of Amazon's commitment to responsible AI development.
• Demonstrate proficiency in generating high-quality human insight data across modalities such as text, image, video, and audio.
• Make sound judgments and decisions when faced with ambiguous or incomplete information during tasks.
• Pay close attention to detail and adapt quickly to different requirement categories.
• Support daily operational deliverables for multiple tasks assigned to you and the team.
• Analyze root causes, identify error patterns, and propose solutions to improve labeling quality.
• Identify operational issues in Standard Operating Procedures and tools, and suggest improvements.
• Provide support to clarify internal queries during task execution as needed.

A day in the life

We seek a ML Data Associate (MLDA) to perform foundational labeling tasks, such as dialogue evaluation on speech, text, audio, and video data.

Your ability to concentrate, multitask, and maintain high attention to detail will help you deliver quality work while ensuring confidentiality and adhering to Amazon policies. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• An Associate’s Degree or relevant work experience
• CEFR C1+ or equivalent fluency in French
• Proficiency in English (CEFR C1+), both written and spoken
• Strong business writing skills for reports, proposals, and correspondence
• Advanced reading comprehension and ability to analyze complex documents
• Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
• Ability to interpret and follow detailed instructions across projects
• Research skills for gathering and synthesizing information
• Attention to detail in managing complex tasks and documents

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• 2+ years of professional experience with task execution
• Experience leveraging open-source resources for research
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced, changing environments
• 2-3 years of project coordination or management experience
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships
