Job summary

We're looking for a SQL Developer to join our expanding development team based in Leeds. As a SQL Developer, you'll play a key role in developing new systems, integrating third‑party applications and maintaining existing solutions. Working closely with developers, business analysts and stakeholders across the business, you'll help transform business requirements into practical, data‑driven solutions that support decision making and drive operational improvements.

As a SQL Developer, You Will

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into database and integration solutions.
• Design, develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, scripts and database objects.

What You'll Need

• At least 2 years' experience in a SQL Developer, Database Developer, Data Engineer or similar role.
• Strong Microsoft SQL Server experience, including queries, stored procedures, scripts and database objects.
• Experience creating or supporting data feeds, ETL/ELT processes, integrations or data pipelines.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience using source control tools such as Git.
• Experience developing or supporting Python-based solutions.

Desirable

• Degree-level qualification in a STEM subject or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Dataflows, Lakehouse or Warehouse solutions.
• Experience developing or supporting REST API integrations or C# development.
