The Role

We are beginning the search for 2 SQL Developers for a long-standing client with whom we have placed many developers over the past 10 years. These roles are exclusively available through Oscar Technology.

These positions are primarily remote; candidates should be willing to travel to the office for company-wide meetings if called. Since the company adopted a remote-first working model post-pandemic, such meetings are infrequent. Candidates must be UK-based, from any location within the UK.

The Role

As a SQL Developer, you will join the database team working on a 5-year data transformation project. The project involves migrating legacy data (from over 20 years of trading history and acquisitions) into new, advanced systems. Most data resides in SQL Server-based systems, which will transition to new data platforms.

This is an exciting time to join the project. You will collaborate with stakeholders to gather migration requirements and execute the data transfers.

Responsibilities

• Design and approve SQL Server and data structure technical solutions.
