Introduction
The Driftrock engineering team is on the hunt for a software engineer who will work directly with everyone in the company to continuously improve our product and drive innovation.
You will be expected to:

About The Team & TechnologyYou will be joining a small product team, with engineers deeply passionate about technology and problem solving, offering you the chance to make a significant impact on the team’s culture and practices, and the wider company.
We believe in continuous improvement, constantly optimizing how we work and communicate.
Our work is planned weekly using a lean approach (a mix of Kanban and eXtreme Programming), allowing multiple deployments daily for quick feedback.
We use data to inform decisions from user stories to company strategy, emphasizing observability and monitoring product behavior.
Our platform comprises multiple services mainly built in Elixir, with some transitioning from Ruby, communicating via APIs and RabbitMQ, with data stored in PostgreSQL and Redis. All hosted on Kubernetes and Google Cloud.
Current ProjectsWe are migrating our app to Phoenix LiveView and Phoenix Components, developing best practices and style guides. We are also enhancing our processing pipeline's performance, refining existing features, and exploring new technologies.
Requirements- 3+ years of Web Development experience
- Strong backend skills, preferably in Elixir, with some frontend framework experience
- Background in computer science
- Comfortable working with Linux
- Desire to learn and improve technical and soft skills
- Enjoy working in small, collaborative teams
- Ability to contribute diverse perspectives and make technical decisions
- Interest in agile practices like continuous delivery, TDD, pair programming, code reviews, retrospectives
- Ability to work within the same timezone as the team (flexible)
