Job summary

Atos in Greater London is seeking a SQL Specialist to join a team handling Microsoft SQL Server support, deployment, and performance across enterprise environments.

You will investigate issues to a high technical standard, plan changes with customers, and contribute to ITIL-based change management and infrastructure projects. BAU DBA duties include maintaining the SQL Server Warehouse, data loads, and data modelling for multiple development teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and related tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with ITIL change management processes.

Responsibilities

• Microsoft SQL Server support, implementation and deployment.
• Investigate and resolve problems to a highly technical standard.
• Plan and undertake changes to software/hardware as agreed with the customer.
• Assess user requirements and formulate technical specifications that meet identified needs.
• Install and test SQL Server software and ensure project elements perform to specification.
• Contribute to implementation of new/modified systems with clients to achieve benefits.
• Maintain a standard methodology for planning and installation of infrastructure.
• Produce systems documentation per Atos processes and standards.
• Monitor infrastructure services and identify improvements and preventative maintenance.
• BAU DBA responsibilities include development and sustainment of the SQL Server Warehouse.
• Perform data loads and data modelling to support multiple development teams.
