Job summary
McLaren Automotive is expanding its Supplier Quality & Development team in the UK. You will lead SQD programmes and launches for several vehicle programmes, acting as the SQD representative in gateway reviews, driving APQP milestones and nomination audits, coordinating with Purchasing, Product Development, Manufacturing and PMO for supplier readiness and on-time launches.

Qualifications
- Experience in Automotive OEM supplier quality across new vehicle programmes.
- Proven ability to drive quality in gateway reviews and audits.
- Knowledge of APQP and industry quality tools.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
Responsibilities
- Lead SQD programme and launch activities for vehicle programmes.
- Represent SQD in gateway reviews and supplier nominations.
- Drive APQP milestones and part maturity.
- Develop SQD launch organisation for hands-on build support.
- Coordinate supplier quality input to commodity strategies.
- Provide quality input into programme planning and milestones.
- Manage escalation of supplier quality issues and track key quality metrics.
