JLL seeks a Main Contracts Design Engineer to lead design, coordination and delivery of automatic sprinkler systems across major commercial and industrial developments. You will work with clients, consultants and construction teams to ensure compliant, cost-effective designs aligned with schedules and industry standards.

The role requires experience with hydraulic calculations, LPC Rules, BS EN 12845, and proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM tools.

Formación

• Experience designing automatic sprinkler systems in fire protection.
• Knowledge of LPC Rules and BS EN 12845 requirements.
• Experience producing hydraulic calculations.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsabilidades

• Design sprinkler systems from concept through construction and commissioning.
• Produce hydraulic calculations and ensure performance meets standards.
• Prepare and review drawings using AutoCAD, Revit and BIM.
• Coordinate designs with other building services disciplines and construction teams.
• Support project teams through design, installation and handover.
• Attend site surveys and design review meetings.
• Assist with design variations and value engineering opportunities.
• Maintain design documentation and compliance with procedures.
