Job summary
Hall & Kay is seeking a sprinkler design engineer to develop and coordinate sprinkler designs across multiple projects. You will design system layouts, prepare working drawings, and perform hydraulic calculations in line with EN/UK standards.
You will liaise with clients, attend site meetings, and contribute to documentation, procurement, and site support. The role requires comprehensive design experience in sprinkler systems, familiarity with LPCB standards, and proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit
Qualifications
- Comprehensive experience in a design engineering role within the sprinkler industry (essential).
- Knowledge of LPCB standards and hydraulic calculation qualifications (essential/desirable).
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit 3D recommended; Canute hydraulic calculations desirable.
Responsibilities
- Design sprinkler systems through coordination with clients and other trades.
- Prepare and issue complete working drawings and hydraulic calculations.
- Attend site meetings to discuss design matters and ensure alignment with programme and specs.
- List materials, procure items, and monitor stock and procurement activities.
- Forward drawings and quantities to suppliers/subcontractors and support site execution.
