Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver progressive coaching sessions for PE and school sport.
• Organise inter-school and intra-school competitions.
• Liaise with Northamptonshire Sport and external bodies.
• Encourage pupils to stay active and develop a lifelong fitness habit.
• Promote inclusion and remove participation barriers.
• Support extracurricular activities and after-school events.
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Assist with school trips, lunchtime activities, and before/after school programs.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Planning and delivering exciting and progressive coaching sessions that promote participation in PE and school sport.

• Organising inter-school and intra-school competitions to foster teamwork and a love for physical activity.

• Acting as the school link to Northamptonshire Sport and other external sporting bodies.

• Encouraging pupils to push their boundaries, stay active, and develop a lifelong passion for health and fitness.

• Promoting inclusivity by identifying and overcoming barriers to participation.

• Supporting extracurricular sporting activities and out-of-school events.

• Monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and working with colleagues to enhance student engagement.

• Assisting in school trips, lunchtime activities, and before/after school programs.
