A leading company in green services is seeking a Sports Maintenance Operative based in Guildford. Candidates will engage in outdoor maintenance tasks at schools, including pitch marking and general upkeep. Glendale’s have recently extended their long term agreement with schools, academies and colleges across Surrey and now have long term employment opportunities for experienced and trainee staff to join a UK privately owned market leading green services provider.
Candidates will be required to work 40 hours a week, Mon - Fri 0700-1530
Overtime is available throughout the year to meet client requirements.

Initial over marking a variety of sports pitches within schools across Surrey, operating a robot marker as well as push markers
Maintaining jump pits and run ups
Post changeovers
On occasion performing other duties may be required such as grass cutting, hedge trimming, clearing leaves, and shrub bed maintenance.
Candidates will also use a range of other tools and some machinery maintenance.
Completing necessary daily check sheets and paperwork involved with the smooth running of operations
DBS will need to be obtained due to the nature of the contract
Experience and knowledge in Initial marking sports pitches is required
The successful applicant will be required to drive, therefore a UK driving licence is required for this post.
