Job summary

Catapult is a London-based sports technology company building data-driven insights for elite teams. We seek an enthusiastic Computer Vision Engineer to own the complete lifecycle of features, from product brief to production-ready Python assets powering analytics used by professional athletes worldwide.

You will collaborate with senior data scientists and other engineers to deploy scalable CV workflows, train models, and contribute to a cross-vertical platform.

Qualifications

• Core CV knowledge: multi-view geometry, object tracking, spatial transformation.
• Deep learning: object detection, segmentation, transformers in vision.
• Proficient in Python for prototyping, training, and deployment pipelines.
• C++ knowledge with build tools (CMake) and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Translate product requirements into practical CV solutions from raw video to production inference.
• Design, train, and evaluate deep learning architectures alongside classical CV pipelines.
• Develop robust geometric pipelines for camera calibration and coordinate mapping.
• Architect and containerise Python-based cloud microservices (Docker) for deployment.
• Assist in building cross-platform desktop components using ONNX Runtime C++ API.
• Build automated data-ingestion pipelines with model-assisted pre-labeling.
• Define clean API boundaries to integrate DS modules with downstream apps.
