The Sports Coach SEN Teaching Assistant will be responsible for providing support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in sports activities. Duties include assisting the lead teacher in planning and delivering sports sessions, adapting activities to meet the individual needs of students, and promoting physical and social development through sports.
- Relevant experience working with children or individuals with SEN
- Understanding of SEN practises and strategies
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Previous experience working in a school or educational setting
- Knowledge of different sports and physical activities
- Ability to adapt activities for students with SEN
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- First Aid certification
- Safeguarding training
The role involves working part-time hours in a school setting, assisting with sports activities for students with SEN. The Sports Coach SEN Teaching Assistant will collaborate closely with the lead teacher and other staff members to support the overall development of students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
