Job summary

Northern Community Leisure Ltd in Bangor is seeking a Sports Coach - Dance to create memorable experiences for children and families through engaging dance-themed birthday parties. This role focuses on a safe, welcoming environment where kids can be active and have fun.

Casual hours with weekend work; DBS check required; training and benefits through Serco’s client network. You’ll help deliver parties, maintain safety, and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer care skills with a genuine passion for working with children and families.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with customers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Confidence using initiative and responding positively in a busy environment.
• Awareness of health and safety requirements and a commitment to maintaining safe working practices.
• Experience working with children or within a customer-focused leisure environment would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fun, engaging and well-organised dance birthday parties for children
• Provide a friendly and welcoming service to children, parents and guests at all times
• Communicate with customers throughout parties to ensure they are satisfied with their experience
• Create an energetic and enjoyable party atmosphere while ensuring activities are safely supervised
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and customer service across all party activities
• Support first aid requirements where appropriate and report customer feedback, concerns or complaints to the Duty Manager promptly

Location: Bangor Aurora Aquatics and Leisure Complex, Bangor, BT20 4TH
Salary: Competitive Salary, plus excellent benefits
Schedule: Casual hours, Monday to Sunday, with the majority of work taking place at weekends.

What you'll do as a Sports Coach - Dance

Vetting and checks:

This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, and any relevant information held by local police, in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and safeguarding requirements.
