Join a leading educational institution as a Sports Coach, where you will inspire and engage young learners through various sports. This part-time role requires previous coaching experience, especially in netball or hockey, and offers a supportive working environment focused on children's physical development and teamwork principles. The position provides additional opportunities for coaching hours and a chance to contribute to a vibrant school community.
We are seeking a Sports Coach to join the team at King's St Alban's Prep School, Worcester, on a fixed term basis for one year, from September 2025.

As part of our dedicated staff, our sports coaches deliver engaging, age-appropriate coaching sessions across a range of sports, helping pupils develop fundamental skills in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Whilst we welcome applications from people from a range of sporting backgrounds, we especially welcome those with previous experience in playing and/or coaching netball or hockey.
Hours of work:
There may also be an opportunity for additional hours coaching at the Senior School.
Please specify in your application which specialisms you hold with reference to your playing and coaching experience, as well as any coaching qualifications that you hold.
Safeguarding responsibilities of the successful candidate
Staff are advised to maintain an attitude of “it could be happening here and probably is” as far as safeguarding is concerned and should always act in the best interest of the child.
All staff are expected to actively promote and safeguard the welfare of all pupils. As this post involves significant contact with children and the postholder will be responsible for children, they will be considered to be in regulated activity and must report any concerns in a timely manner.
All staff must also attend annual safeguarding training and have proper regard for the School’s safeguarding policy and procedures.
