Job summary

Worldwide Teaching Ltd is seeking Sports Coaches to support secondary schools in Trafford. Roles offer flexible part-time or full-time hours during school terms, typically 8:30am–3:30pm, with opportunities to cover PE and support students across Key Stage 3 and 4.

Candidates with UK-based experience working with children and young people will be preferred. You should be able to engage students, communicate confidently, and leverage coaching experience to motivate and support learners.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching sports with children and young people.

• Ability to build positive relationships and motivate learners.

Responsibilities

• PE Cover - deliver/assist PE lessons across KS3/KS4.

Cover People are actively recruiting Sports Coaches and Sports Graduates with UK-based experience working with children and young people to support a range of secondary school opportunities across Trafford.

These roles are ideal for coaches who are looking to transition from the sporting environment into education. You don't necessarily need qualified teacher status or previous classroom teaching experience - what matters most is your ability to build positive relationships with young people, communicate confidently and use your coaching experience to motivate and support students.

We can offer flexible part-time and full-time opportunities, with roles including:

• PE Cover - supporting PE departments and delivering or assisting with PE lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

• Behaviour Support - using your coaching experience and positive approach to engage students who may struggle with behaviour, motivation or emotional regulation.

• Pastoral Support - working closely with students to develop confidence, resilience, attendance, engagement and positive relationships with school staff.
