Long-term Teachers Ltd. urgently seeks a passionate Sports Coach to inspire students in Reading through engaging coaching, teamwork, and healthy living. You will tailor sessions, foster cooperation, and promote physical fitness across school activities.

Ideal candidates bring experience with youth, strong communication, and collaborative spirit. DBS checks are required, and Team Teach training is offered to successful applicants as part of our supportive program.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Sports Coach or in a similar role, particularly working with young people.
• A passion for physical education and a genuine desire to help students improve their fitness, teamwork, and personal skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
• Adaptability and the ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
• Experience with behaviour management techniques is desirable.

• Team Building: Foster teamwork and cooperation through group sports activities, encouraging positive interaction and collaboration among students.
• Physical Development: Promote physical health and fitness, encouraging students to lead active, healthy lifestyles both in and out of school.
• Positive Behaviour Reinforcement: Use sports as a medium to promote discipline, perseverance, and respect, ensuring a positive impact on students' behaviour and attitudes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with teachers and school staff to integrate sports into the overall educational experience, supporting students' physical and emotional development.

The Role

• Team Teach training is preferred, but not essential, and we offer Team Teach training free of charge to successful candidates.
