Job summary

Club Priestnall at Priestnall High School is seeking a friendly Sports Centre Assistant to help run the facilities and welcome community users. The role includes setting up, cleaning and supervising gym and sports areas, with a weekend schedule of 18 hours (Saturday and Sunday, 8am-5pm).

You will liaise with the PE Department to ensure smooth use by school and community groups. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role and a solid GCSE background in Maths and English.

• Sound educational background including GCSEs in Maths and English (A-C) or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the smooth running of the sports centre facilities.
• Liaise with Heads of the School PE Department to ensure smooth operation between school and community use.
• Must be able to move equipment correctly (e.g. badminton posts, table tennis tables).
• Support daily interaction with community users, plus day-to-day cleaning, setup and supervision of gym and sports facilities.

Job description

Club Priestnall, located at Priestnall High School,are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Sports Centre Assistant to join their team. In this role you will assist in the smooth running of the Sports Centre facilities. Club Priestnall has a variety of sporting facilities available to hire to local community groups and sporting clubs. In this role, the ideal candidate will play a key part in ensuring our facilities provide a welcoming and positive experience for all our new members. Furthermore, you will be responsible for supporting the daily interaction with community users along with the day-to-day cleaning, setting up and supervision of gym and sports facilities.
