Job summary

Hazel Grove Sports Centre is seeking a friendly Sports Centre Assistant to help run our facilities in a vibrant, community-based setting. The role focuses on keeping the centre welcoming and well-maintained for members and users, with duties that support daily operations and user experience.

The position mainly covers Hazel Grove Sports Centre with occasional cover at Club Cheadle Hulme. Working pattern is Tue–Fri 3:30–10:30pm and Sun 8:00am–5:00pm, offering part-time hours within a dynamic

Qualifications

• GCSEs Maths and English at A*-C or equivalent.
• Must be able to move equipment correctly (e.g. badminton posts, table tennis tables).
• Prior experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the smooth running of the sports centre facilities.
• Liaise with Heads of the School PE Department to ensure smooth operation/changeover between school and community use.

Hazel Grove Sports Centre are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Sports Centre Assistant to join their team. In this role you will assist in the smooth running of the Sports Centre facilities. Hazel Grove Sports Centre has a variety of sporting facilities available to hire to local community groups and sporting clubs. In this role, the ideal candidate will play a key part in ensuring our facilities provide a welcoming and positive experience for all our new members. Furthermore, you will be responsible for supporting the daily interaction with community users along with the day-to-day cleaning, setting up and supervision of gym and sports facilities.

This role will be mainly based at Hazel Grove Sports Centre and on occasion Cheadle Hulme Sports Centre (Club Cheadle Hulme), flexibility to cover other trust club sites will also be required. Working pattern is Tuesday - Friday 3:30-10:30pm and Sunday 8am-5pm.
