Job summary

City St George’s, University of London is recruiting a Sport and Wellness Assistant to deliver excellent customer service and support the day-to-day operations of CitySport on campus. The role involves welcoming users, handling enquiries, processing bookings and payments, and assisting with sport and wellbeing sessions.

The successful candidate should have customer-facing experience, strong communication and organisational skills, and be willing to complete First Aid at Work and coaching

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• First Aid at Work and sports coaching qualifications are desirable and may be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and support facility users and manage enquiries.
• Control access to CitySport and handle Leisure Management System administration.
• Set up activity spaces and ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Process bookings and payments; facilitate sport and wellbeing sessions.
• Support events, outreach activities and maintain a professional facility presentation.
