Job summary

Loughborough College Group is seeking a number of sessional Progress Tutors to support 16–18 learners in the Sport department, with opportunities to work across other areas of the college. You will manage and coach a caseload, delivering high-quality tutorial support to help students succeed and progress to their next steps.

The role offers a route into teaching, with the college supporting you to acquire a teaching qualification.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree and vocational experience in an educational setting are essential.
• Dynamic candidate with strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Able to work in a large cross-curricular team and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coach a caseload of learners in partnership with curriculum and staff.
• Deliver inspiring tutorial support to help students succeed.
• Provide cover within the team; opportunity to start a teaching career and pursue teaching qualification.
